This project was developed under the guidance of my mentor, Peter Zoppi.
Starting with my base mesh, I then used Houdini to transfer topology from the VFACE mesh to mine. Substance Designer was utilized for texture transferring.
Texturing touchups were done in Mari and a simple shirt was made inside Marvelous Designer. I am using a VFX style groom, as some modern / next-gen games are moving towards this technology.
Face 8222 polygons / 16, 444 triangles
Eyes 2480 polygons / 4880 triangles
2k, Rectangular Textures Utilized For Facial UV’s
A single 2k by 4k rectangular texture was used for the portrait, granting more resolution for the face.
